The Rojo Puerta 302 in Wimberley

My second time to stay at Eagle’s Nest. Always convenient and comfortable! There’s really no better place for your stay in Wimberley. Will be back.

It was spate of the moment…. I just needed to get away. As a nurse, mother, sister….. needed this place!!! Everything i needed. The property is beautiful as is the area, surroundings and nothing is far away. I almost don’t want to say too much for fear that my new fav place will get booked up. I was never bothered walked around enjoyed the property, sunset and the view. Peace and quiet was exactly what I needed. I stayed total of 4 nights actually added a day that’s how impressed I was. It was what my soul needed.

Perfect spot for a couple or small family. Great outdoor space!

The place was exactly as advertised and the host was easy to get in touch with. Check-in is super easy and the location is great. Super relaxing environment.

My fiancé proposed to me on this trip and this Airbnb helped make that experience possible. The host was super responsive and went above and beyond. The property was very secluded and a beautiful walk. You’re out in the scenic expanse of Wimberley but you’re also 5 minutes away from H-E-B and pretty much anything you could need. It’s a 6 or 7 minute drive to downtown, Blue Hole, and a Canyon Falls. A little hidden gem. We will definitely be coming back!

Peaceful location, comfortable bed, and great communication with the host. A few maintenance items came up, but the host was very receptive to feedback. Overall a nice stay!

Eric was great to communicate with and the house was so adorable & comfortable! We were able to easily locate and access. The sunsets are ammmazing 😍 and the little community is off the beaten path, private, and quiet. It was a very serene getaway, and I would definitely stay again. It's a prime location for eating out because there's so much good food and it's close to the city but if you're planning a meal at home, be sure to take stock of the cooking utensils because they are minimal. Also, you will need to bring your own sheets for the pull out bed (there are pillows & blankets). All in all--it was a very serene getaway, and I would definitely stay again!

I would’ve given four stars if the price point was lower - I didn’t find it worth what we paid for. Bathroom needed some maintenance, and sheets were not on the pullout couch (even tho advertised as sleeping four). Excessive communication from host (canned messages). This is part of a little community of rentals. I did like that it was tucked away, very quiet and had a big bed but you need to drive to get anywhere else.

This property is set back in the hills and just a short drive from Wimberly Square. The host was very communicative and responsive to all our questions. Happy to recommend this property!

Our 1 night stay was great. Easy check in and out. The location was beautiful. We picked this place because of the location close to one of our favorite wineries. We would stay again!

We loved our stay at Rojo Puerta! It was extremely clean, the bathroom was modern with a great rain shower shower head, the towels were new and fluffy, the king size bed was very comfortable and the comforter was fresh and cozy. One night, we sat in the little park at the property and watched the sunset with a perfect view. We would definitely stay here again! Eric was easy to communicate with. And the price of this cute cabin can’t be beat. If it’s available for the dates you need, get it now!

We stayed almost next door to our daughter and her family. It was so nice to go back and have our own place at night. The house was very clean. Smelled good. It had just what we needed for our stay. Thank you and I’m sure we will stay again!

Very nice place to stay! Window unit took a while to cool off the living/kitchen but bed room was nice and cold.

The event we attended started when we were able to check-in. I let Eric know and he was very accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier. The space was nice and clean had all the amenities we needed. If we are ever in the area again, I would rebook.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Eric’s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations!

My husband had to work in Wimberly for a few days, instead of booking a hotel we decided to do an Airbnb. Let me start by saying Eric was extremely easy to work with and he is very kind and quick to respond. His place was clean and comfy, easy to find and was located is the area we needed. Going forward, we will continue to cook with Eric for any work trips to Wimberley. Thank you for everything, Eric.
