The Morada 304 in Wimberley

The home is well decorated and the bed and couch are comfortable. But everything is old. The kitchenware is old. The countertops and cabinets are peeling off in many places. The only large stove burner is falling apart and smokes when on. The AC units are loud. Highway traffic can be heard from indoors. The home creaks loudly every so often. There are no lamps, only harsh overhead lighting. No bath mat or dish rack, and not enough kitchen towels. There is blue painters tape on the floor in the bedroom with wires running on part of the floor. Heating is an archaic wall panel with no settings except on or off. Hosts took a day to respond to an inquiry of mine and only responded after I followed up. I received multiple lengthy copied and pasted instructions that didn’t apply to my stay. It's apparent that they have multiple properties and don't have the bandwidth to devote personal attention to this one. I only stayed because I was in a pinch and I wouldn’t stay again.

Overall this was a good stay after the initial check in process which resulted in a 3 star review. We arrived Friday night at 8 pm & the elock wasn’t working. After 35 min of going back & forth w/Eric we just so happened to try & open the door which had been unlocked the entire time. We let Eric know that we were going to eat breakfast the next morning around 8 am & would need a solution by then so we could lock the house. Saturday 8 am comes & we hadn’t heard back from Eric so we touched base again & within about 30 minutes a gentleman showed up to replace batteries on the elock. The communication could’ve been better from the host- we felt like we were constantly reaching out & not even for trivial things…you expect to be able to lock your things up when you stay at a house. With that being said, I will say that the house was clean & just what we were looking for. Eric was kind enough to let us bring our 3 puppies & everything else went smoothly! Next time we’ll bring batteries!

It wasn’t busy so it was nice and quiet. As advertised. Good value. Bed was very comfortable.

This is a perfect getaway in Wimberley. A quiet and relaxing tiny home with everything I needed. A bonus…the king size bed was super comfortable!

Really cool place great location

We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved the space so much we stayed an extra day; it was Thanksgiving, so nothing was even open—we just enjoyed the space! Amenities were wonderful and thoughtful as well. Biggest and comfiest bed we ever slept on, games and books, big TV, and (my favorite) rain style showerhead!! We also definitely appreciated the washer and dryer. Lots of room to walk my dogs around the property, and there’s a lovely sunset view as well. Really, really loved spending a quiet week here with our dogs, just a stone’s throw from the charming town of Wimberley. Would love to come back here! 💜

Exactly as pictured - a truly peaceful hilltop retreat! Quiet, stunning scenic views, and beautiful orange sunsets. Plenty of space for us to walk the pup around the property on chill days. Even saw a deer pass through while enjoying my morning coffee. Highly recommend for anyone seeking some peace & relaxation!

The location was perfect for this little Texas hill country tiny home. Bed and seating were comfortable and inviting, snacks and water was ready for my arrival, parking was easy, and the stay was exactly what I needed. Looking forward to staying here again in a couple of weeks.

We were so comfortable here! The perfect unit for a couple traveling and only 10 minutes or less from town. You will need to look at the instructions on finding the property since your gps will only take you to the street, not the house. But the instructions made navigating that very easy! We loved having coffee on the patio in the mornings and sunrise on the hill was spectacular. I wish we had time to check out the trail but seeing the community amenities that are coming, we can’t wait to stay again!

Okay, so nothing was suuuuper wrong here, but nothing was quite right either... The pros: - Proximity to town - Small but very open; felt spacious & like the photos - Super responsive host when we had check-in trouble The cons: - The coffee maker didn't work. They did have the worlds' teeniest one-cup french press (but no grounds, only pods for the broken machine) - Oven door doesn't open, due to the handle on a faux sink drawer - Doorknobs are sticky - We got stuck in/out of the bathroom constantly - AC was Off for arrival on a hot TX day -- hard on our elderly dog while waiting for the unit to cool :( - The AC: 1 'window' & 1 portable unit. The window unit is installed in the middle of a wall, and looks to have never been cleaned. The portable is directly next to the bed & LOUD. - Construction! 7:30am daily til late, on communal amenities & with no warnings Just... weird issues. With so many units there, I expected a cozier, cleaner stay with fully-working appliances. 🤷‍♀️

Great stay!

My wife and I stayed for the weekend and had such a wonderful time. Eric’s home was simple, affordable and as described. It was very close to town so it was easy to make multiple trips for morning coffee, lunch, shopping, etc.

Eric’s place was such a gem to find. The perfect location for our Wimberly stay, close to the Wimberly Square, Jacobs Well, Blue Hole - everything you could desire to do! The place was so cute and the views were incredible. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable for me, that’s probably more a personal preference since I have back problems lol - something to note however. The bathroom door would sometimes get stuck and you had to lift it to get out or risk getting stuck. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Wimberly again!

It was ok. Had a strange smell walking in. Like egg. Also the lock in the restroom door watch out it will lock you out or in. Not enough toiletries nor paper towels. The coffee maker

Great location - close to all the things we needed during our trip. Overall, it was great for a weekend getaway.

Eric was very very patient with us. Even when we locked ourselves out he patiently walked us through how to get back in and stayed on the phone until we did. Even though I never met him he made me feel very comfortable knowing that he was there if I ever needed him. Thanks so much for his Great Hospitality.

Cute place to stay nearby lots of shops and scenery!

The place is in a quiet and private area near Wimberly Square. It is beautiful with a good view off the living room and balcony. Wimberly is also a friendly little town and I enjoyed the restaurants, night live music and walking around the square shops. The place looks and is as described. The host is great, responsive, friendly and was flexible with my checking.

Cozy and comfortable! We enjoyed the sunset right down the short trail.

Absolutely beautiful place for the price. Owners are great and communicated wonderfully. We will be returning soon!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was so cozy and perfect for us and our pups. We loved the location and ease of getting to the place. If we find ourselves back in the area, we will gladly stay there again.

The place was small as described but great for our stay, we were supposed to bring our dog but she unfortunately passed away, Eric was responsive and reimbursed us our pet fee. The location was great, quick drive into town and all the surrounding attractions. We will be back.

My husband and I loved our stay. The place was the perfect size. We got some rain during our stay so we enjoyed our favorite show along with some amazing Texan BBQ.

Perfect place for 2!

This is my first time to visit Wimberley. Eric is a very nice host, gave me the suggestion of local art attractions. I really enjoyed the Wimberley Glassworks. They have live demo for glass blowing work, and tons of beautiful art works. I will come back for more activities, birding watching, art galleries and the peaceful nature parks. Love it!

House was perfect for what we needed, felt kind of like a hotel suite without having to share any walls!

Overall, a lovely tastefully appointed tiny home. There was an issue with the microwave and the host remedied the problem immediately. The location was perfect for visiting Wimberley, even close enough to visit Fredricksburg.

This was our first time in Wimberley. We were looking for a cozy and affordable place to stay, this place was both. It is close to everything.

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend at one of Eric’s tiny homes. It was cute, clean, and comfortable. The bed is super comfortable, too. He is just a short drive to the square in Wimberley and the popular outdoor attractions. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Wimberley. We would love to come in a group and rent multiple tiny houses that are available on his property. It’s the perfect set up for a family reunion or getaway with friends.

Wimberley was a great place to get away from the hussle and bustle for life. Easy quick drive to all the surrounding towns, hiking, and exploring. This home was quiet with serene surroundings. It was just as described, and at a great value.

Very quiet and semi-secluded house in a group of other small houses with outdoor seating areas and barbecue pit. The house was tastefully decorated and everything worked well. The kitchen had basic supplies to cook simple meals, but we only cooked breakfast, as we're were out and about exploring all day. It is located only 5 minutes from downtown Wimberely. Excellent location to get around to various places. Our pets were very happy, but they do need a leash as there is not a fenced area. The host, Eric, was great. He responded quickly to any requests we made and is very friendly. We plan to return as soon as possible.

This was one of several cabins, each with a different color door to identify. There were some hiccups in the stay but Eric was very responsive and offered a different cabin to complete our stay. The cabin was nicely decorated and comfortable and the location was scenic.

The house was exactly as you’d expect. Matched the photos, beautiful, clean & close to downtown Wimberley! We would definitely stay here again.
