Such a cute house, very private and comfortable. Perfect for a weekend getaway! Host was responsive and polite. Place was clean and quiet.

Let me tell you, the bed was really comfy. The view was breathtaking, but just a little too close to Hwy 12. There is a lot of traffic on that road, but it was super convenient for getting to & from Wimberley Square. There are so many new restaurants to checkout in Wimberley. This place is very close to local wineries. The layout of this Airbnb is very nice for a couple on their own or a family with two young children. The couch easily pops out into a double bed. We utilized this feature to relax and watch a movie one night--very much appreciated. Thank you to Eric & Derrick for providing a fantastic place to stay. Keep up the good work!

Location was great exactly what we expected . Follow Erik’s direction our GPS got us lost at the end. Cabin was clean and the sunset was spectacular . We recommend the place! Jurgen and Betty

The area was really nice and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was concerning, the constant smell of mildew and the water had a bad scent to it as well. There were many cups that were not washed too.

Place was worth the price. Beautiful view from the back porch. Nice and clean, very organized. Was close to pretty much everything whether you needed to get some gas or some groceries, it was only like 5 minute drive. Eric gave us great recommendations, felt like home away from home. We’ll be coming back guaranteed.

The home itself was disappointing — it wasn’t very clean, had a strong mildew smell, and several areas needed maintenance. The shower and bathroom didn’t feel sanitary, the bed was broken and uncomfortable, and the patio and furniture were in poor shape. Overall, it didn’t match the condition shown in the photos. That said, the host was very responsive and took responsibility once we shared our concerns, even issuing a partial refund, which we really appreciated. I hope the property gets the repairs and cleaning it needs, because it has potential once those issues are addressed.

We celebrated marriage in Wimberly many years ago on our honeymoon, we visit every couple of years. We chose Eric’s place over our usual rental. I am glad we did. Chocolates and wine that was a nice touch. The view from the back porch is awesome. It is VERY quiet and peaceful. The front area is a nice place to sit as well. It is covered. The place was just perfect. Love the shower with the rainwater type shower head. The kitchen is fully stocked however we ate out this trip. Coffee was available and creamer, the coffee maker is a carafe/kcup coffee maker and there were kcups. I can see why Eric is a super host. He goes the extra distance and will work with his rental customers. Thanks Eric, awesome place, nice to have a great host like yourself. So renters check this one out, it is a jewel! Eric is a great host as well. See you next time if your place is available! I rate this as one of the best places to stay in Wimberly.

Really great spot in the hill country. Close to town but still tucked away

we had a wonderful and peaceful stay for our anniversary at Eric's place. the bed was large and extremely comfortable and the view from the balcony was lovely. even though the property has several different Casitas on it, we felt that we had enough space and our own Casita was very private. a fantastic feature of this location is the separate laundry room with washer and dryer - extremely helpful for a longer stay like ours. Eric was a thoughtful and responsive host, we would definitely stay again!

The place was very comfy and cozy! The location was superb! Located right down the street from Wimberly square and 4 mins from my favorite drink venue - The Shady Llama. The space was clean and had everything I needed, coffee pot, dishes, cookware, etc. The view is what I booked this place for, and it surely did not disappoint. I enjoyed having coffee out on the porch every morning. The owners of the air bb were VERY easy to communicate with and handled any inconveniences QUICK! I would stay here again. Photos très jolies mais la propreté n’est pas au rdv. Le sol colle, le calcaire est présent partout dans la salle de bain et à la cuisine tellement que l’eau n’arrive pas à sortir correctement. Une odeur d’égout est présente à chaque fois que l’eau coule quelque part. Carrelage cassé dans la douche. Cheveux dans les serviettes et dans le lit, pas à nous. Chocolat de bienvenue périmé. Eau de la Clim qui tombe sur le lit de la chambre. Clim très bruyante dans le salon.

Eric was an amazing host and had great recommendations of things me and my finance could do while we were down there and the home was very welcoming and put together very well . The sunset on the balcony was the cherry on top . Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic but scenic getaway and I will be definetly returning in the future !

Great peaceful place right outside Wimberly. Nice comfortable king sized bed. Lots of space for what's listed as a "tiny house". Full kitchen with everything you need to cook. AC worked fantastic. WiFi was a little spotty but pretty normal for the hill country.

Our stay at the Green Puerta was great. Location was central to Wimberley and wine country activities in the surrounding area. Jacob's Well and Cypress Creek are great spots to visit both less than 15min drive! The home was clean on arrival and matched the photos on the listing. Would definitely stay here again when coming back to the area!

Staying at the tiny home was an awesome experience. My wife and I really enjoyed the location and the natural beauty of the surroundings. Our dog Zica enjoyed the walks on the property and the terrain. We enjoyed the view from the balcony over looking the valley below. Eric was awesome and we were able to extend a night as we were having so much fun. There is a lot to do in Wemberly from the river to shopping and good restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend staying here to anyone as well, the bed is very comfortable and the rain shower was great. Thanks Eric, we will definitely be back!

My partner and I had such a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The house was the perfect size for the two of us, cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated with cute touches throughout. We really liked the location; it was close enough to town to be convenient, but still tucked away enough to feel private and safe, which we really appreciated. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to maybe add a lamp in the living room and one near the restroom—just to give the space a little extra ambiance in the evenings. The Green Puerta was a beautiful getaway home. Was on top of the town it felt like, with beautiful scenery all around and very easy to find. Close to everything in town within 5 minutes. 100% recommend and will definitely be looking to stay here again.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb‘s and this was one of my favorite. It was a cute little cabin, decorated really cool and felt homey and relaxing. It had all we needed for a long weekend. The views were beautiful from the deck. Location was close enough to downtown Wimberly but far enough away to feel private. A nice getaway that I will recommend to friends and family. Eric was a super responsive host. I am so glad we found this GEM.

Eric’s place was perfect for us. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Location worked well for us to attend a wedding and visit family in Driftwood. Super clean. Eric responded to a couple of questions I had promptly. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Eric’s place looks just like the pictures. Perfect size for a couple. Very good location as it is 5 mins on the same road as the main square. Took us about 5 mins to get to the blue hole park where we saw a concert. 20 mins to driftwood where we ate at Salt Lick and visited a couple of more wineries outside of Wimberley. We even saw deer coming on to the property one day! I would recommend and definitely stay again.

I booked a last minute stay for one night after the AirBnB I had been staying at didn't turn out to be what I was expecting. I wish I had had just booked here to begin with. Eric was incredibly responsive and welcoming. The space was well decorated and perfectly located, and it had the main thing I was hoping for - a gorgeous view of the hill country! Oooonly thing is I didn't notice the 10am checkout time. I messaged when I noticed at 9:45 (I had assumed it was 11, but shouldve checked - I know, I know...) and they were kind enough to give me the additional hour. 10am just feels super early for a checkout. That one extra hour between 10 and 11 makes a difference for people like me, lol. Either way, I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again. Thanks so much!

We stayed at Eric’s home in Wemberley for a weekend trip, and his home was the perfect spot for us to get away from the city. The property is a quick drive from the town market, but still felt secluded enough and was quiet and peaceful. Eric was reaching out before we arrived with all the info and instructions we needed and ensured we had a great experience at his home. Lovely home and a great host. Definitely recommend!

Even though there are quite a few tiny houses around the circle, we didn't hear a peep from anyone else and the view out the back made it feel like we were all alone. The location is great - just a few minutes from the square and HEB, but far enough way to be in nature. Would definitely recommend for a quick trip to the Wimberley!

Great place to stay in Wimberley! Perfect size for our family of four. The view from the balcony was amazing - we enjoyed watching the sunsets in the evening and gazing at the stars at night. The grounds has lots of room to walk around, including a little trail for guests and several common areas for the other cabins. The location is only six minutes away from Wimberley Square and a similar short drive to anything you want to do in Wimberley. The bed was also surprisingly comfortable - one of the best we've had in our many Airbnb stays. Easy to get a good night's sleep. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway where you can unwind and relax.

We had a great weekend in the hill country while staying at Eric’s place. The location was so convenient and perfect! There was a small miscommunication initially upon check in, but Eric was quick to respond and fix the issue! He was so easy to work with, and this was such a great couples get away spot! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect for some peace and quiet with the convenience of eating/shopping in Wimberley or San Marcos, this is the place for you!

This place was the perfect escape from Houston during our power power outage after Hurricane Beryl. It is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. The setting off of the back porch was very nice at sunset (even saw deer). I would love to come back and explore the Wimberly and surrounding area and stay here again.
